Bought the map for my trip to milan thinking a laminated pop out map would be helpful. I didn't think it was detailed enough to get around on the streets. I found the paper tourist maps given out by the hotel at check in to be easier to use around town.

Love the popout maps. Very convenient when you're discovering a new city and don't want to lug a huge map with you.

If you love heroines who grow, epic fantasy, dragons, and a slow-burn romance, you'll enjoy this! And you can't beat getting them all at once for binge-ing. :)

Another great collection by Nicolette Andrews. A priestess and a dragon must work together to defeat the monster, while she hides her true identity from him. Enjoyed the world she created in this book and depth of the characters. It brought you into their world.

I really wanted to like this series, but by the time I slogged through half of the second book, I just couldn't do it anymore. The world-building & character development are quite nice, but the constant typos & terrible grammar were so bad that I just couldn't read any further. Would REALLY benefit from a good proofreader/editor.

Love this series! So much packed into every page. An amazing journey, fun and unique characters that are so much fun getting to know. Suzume comes into her own as the books progress. Kaito is a strong personality that must learn to love and trust again after being betrayed by his love.

A great bookset. This is a Fantastic bookset especially if you love fast paced and real page turners. The Author does a fantastic job at bringing out the Characters. And if you love Dragons and Magic its definitely got that wow factor. I highly recommend this booksetShauna Joesten

Of the seven or eight books I have on PM, this is good, but not the best. The content is good and it's suitable to those learning about PM, but it's very long, too wordy at times, doesn't have as many examples or scenarios as some others, and provides too little detail in some places (in my opinion) and too much in others.Sounds like I don't like it - but I do. I just wouldn't use it as the standalone book in a PM class. Of all the books I have, it's the best in terms of introducing people to multiple methodologies. Chapter two is likely the best chapter I've seen to explain the PMBOK - that alone is worth buying this book if you are new to PM and want to study for one of the PMI certifications. It also has a lot of other information that most other books do not have, including on continuous project improvement, managing distressed projects, and managing multiple team projects.If I were starting out, I'd read Chapters 1 and 2 here, then go to The Fast Forward MBA in Project Management or Project Manager Street Smarts, then come back to this book. If studying for the PMP or the CAPM in addition to learning how to be a , I'd through the All-in-One CAPM/PMP Project Management Certification Exam Guide in the mix. Between them, you'd be on your way to understanding how to be a good PM.

I just completed my Project Management class in college, and it is the first time they have used the expanded version of the book (so far as I know). Robert Wysocki knows how to explain concepts deeply and thoroughly...not only will this help you prepare for your eventual PMP exam (you need 3 years Project Management experience to take that exam), but it will help you avoid the common pitfalls related to not choosing the correct management approach.Right after our finals, I spoke to a student who took this course earlier (with the older version of the book), and he was lucky enough to actually listen to Robert as visiting lecturer for one class. The man is nothing short of brilliant!This book is fantastic -- one of the true gems of my collge experience. I do have 2 minor quibbles, however: 1) Robert sometimes goes into an explanation that's far too wordy. He does not confuse, but at times he tends to repeat himself -- over and over, for several pages. Not the whole book, just now and then. 2) There are no review questions of any kind. (Not even a quibble for me, but it may be for you.) At the end of each chapter are scenarios to discuss as a group, if you are so inclined. If you are using this for self-study for certification, this will very likely be a real pitfall. However, you could supplement the vast wealth of Mr. Wysocki's real-world experience with one of the exam study/cram books out there.This is not the book to "cram" for an exam. It discusses terminology and concepts, but goes into great detail about the hows/whys pros/cons of various project management approaches and processes. You must actually read! This book is in no way designed to skim or cram, and you will not be able to do that with this book (unless you already read *this* book and are just reviewing it).However, if you want to become a good project manager, or improve your practice, this is the best book!

I am not a project manager but as an architect I find I am usually managing a project and the team assigned to it. More often than not, a real project manager is not available.I bought this book to find out what the latest project management best practices are. I own the 4th edition of this book and really liked it.This book starts out defining what a project is and what project management is and then it covers the PMBOK Process Groups and Knowledge areas in great detail. After that it covers different types of life cycles like Agile, Extreme, and Traditional. He then covers topics like Portfolio Management and Process Improvement.What I liked most about the book was the detail he goes into. This book contains a vast amount of information. He does a good job of providing summary overviews of what will be covered and then covering it in detail.I will admit the quantity of information can become overwhelming at times. There is a ton of it.One of the things I really like is that the author has created accompanying presentations. They are ready to use for training so your Project Support Office could use them for training across your enterprise.One of my favorite chapters was Managing Distressed Projects. It offers great insight into how projects become distressed as well as great advice on how to get your head above water again.On a decent size project I prefer to have a good project manager that I can partner with, it just makes the projects ten times more enjoyable. Mainly because I get removed from a lot of the politics.Notice I said a good project manager above. I have had my share of bad ones and they can make the project pure misery.I haven't met many project managers armed with the knowledge and the tools found in this book. I wish there were more. If you are a Project Manager, I beg you to read this book. If you are a CIO, Architect, Developer, or any other stakeholder on project large enough to have a Project manager, it would be good for you to read this book so you know what the project manager is working to accomplish during different phases of the project.All in all I think anyone involved with decent size software development project should read this book. It will definitely help improve your project's effectiveness accomplishing adding business value.

R. A. Fisher, the greatest statistician in the 20th century, is definitely a genius and guru. The three-in-one thick book is worthy to be read continuously by every data scientist. Happy reading it!

Apart from the significance of Fisher and his ideas, the format, size, and printing of the book is very nice to read.

It is great to have on hand 3 classic texts available to review and study. Maybe there could be more statistical classics made available to the public.

Incredible to read the actual writings of the greatest statistician of the 20th century. Excellent volume that includes several important works.

After pioneering a theory of mathematical statistics with his important works in the 1920s he published Statistical Methods for Research Workers to teach the method of maximum likelihood, significance testing and distribution theory. The Design of Experiments was the first book on experimental design. Fisher developed the principles of randomization and the analysis of variance. As a geneticist good scientific experimentation was important to him. He explains the principles beautifully through the lady tasting tea example. See also the wonderful book by Salsburg with that title. It gives a wonderful account of experimental design and Fisher's contributions to it. The third book is of lesser importance in my opinion and is a treatise about Fisher's philosophy about statistical inference and the scientific method.I have my own copy of Design of Experiments and I believe these books are still in print individually. But it seems to me to be valuable to have them bound together in a single volume.

This volume is a collection of three of R A Fisher (RAF)'s most important books. The importance of these books cannot be overstated as two of them have gone through many editions.I'm sure most libraries should hold multiple copies of most books by R.A.F, an important figure in modern statistics. Should one buy this book? Of course IF the price is right. This rule should apply to most historically important books. Today's value of this book is mostly historical. There are certainly many original ideas in these books. But equally so are many of RAF's papers which are freely available, which one should read again and again.(...) So even if I rated RAF's works very highly, I agree with one of the reviewers' that, one should be careful in investing our very limited resources to get our most needed books. A general rule: priority should be given to newer books and the books that you will most need in the future.
